Another Way
When a lack of resources means we can’t achieve our vision in its current form, it’s a good idea to let it go rather than battling on regardless, to no effect. That is not “giving up”. It is making a realistic assessment and being sensible.
By letting the vision in its current form go, we have an opportunity to reconsider everything good about the root idea and find ways to embody it without resources that are not available anyway.
Maybe we find that this makes us less dependent on sources of support that would distort what we want to do, even if it makes it more challenging.
