Feeling Lost?

One of the best things we can do when we feel lost, confused, and uncertain is to return to the last place we did not feel that way.

It sounds simple, but if we aim to return to something that was never real in the first place, it doesn’t work. We wander off into more of a fog, attracted by the phantoms created from our own fears. Struggling to re-experience a stability that was only ever imagined.

If we find ourselves caught in this way, it is best to turn our attention to standing back from and dismantling the imagined stable past until we find the actual thread of our origin and can see the direction that it was taking.

The turnings of our onward path always lead back to our origins. It is never a long journey to return there and get our bearings, as long as we do not wander in the fog of fantasies about the past, because a part of us still wishes it were different.
