Is Everything Against You?
When we face opposition, it is worth thinking carefully about whether the differences causing it can be used creatively as a source of energy.
Maybe the differences can be used like fire and water to generate steam and do valuable work. If so, that’s great.
On the other hand, the opposition may be rooted in matters that aren’t that serious, in which case we can adapt and lose little by giving way, so everything can move forward.
But if the differences are fundamental, antagonism can result, in which case it is better to simply separate the opposing energies. Each may have its part to play in the whole, and if a distance is kept between them, there is no reason that both forces cannot contribute to great success and, in doing so, perhaps begin to see the value of one another.
