When we serve a larger objective than self-interest, we connect with others of like mind.

This gathering of good intent can give us great support in the face of cynicism and dismissal. It can nurture an infectious enthusiasm for shared well-being as a fundamental principle. Shared aims and ideas are greater than the sum of their parts, spreading their influence like ripples on a lake.
