Assessing and Releasing
Is it time to face down long-standing problems and move forward?
Persistent investigation of the root causes may seem like hard and unrewarding work, but it ultimately pays dividends. Really getting to the bottom of things may mean not fearing loss. Sometimes we don’t look clearly at a situation because we fear losing what we imagine we have. Yet it isn’t real, and the price we are paying can be way too high.
To look clearly and fearlessly at long-term problems will reveal a way forward. If the things you were hanging on to just aren’t there, then the way forward may simply be to let the whole situation go entirely, including the impulse to fix it.
Maybe it isn’t truly your problem to solve, and when you walk away, it resolves itself.
