Facing a Flood of Change?

Sometimes change happens in a great rolling flood. Especially if it has been held back for a long time and the pressure has built up.

Corruption will eventually rot through the supporting struts of regimes that embrace it.

When they collapse, they can cause the most chaos and do the most harm.

When such great tides of change sweep over us, it can feel like all light and stable reference points are obscured.

Yet we can still navigate by our deep instincts.

Whatever we may have lost, however much we may feel like retreating to solitude, it would be disastrous to do so.

At such a time, it is for us to take the initiative in acting for the common good of all.
