Shock Bringing Union

Shock can disorient us but also wake us up, lead us to freeze, and prompt us to act in new ways.

Perhaps our very first reaction is a flash of insight as everything is disrupted, and we suddenly see flaws and weaknesses where previously all seemed well.

Then we may freeze as if caught in quicksand, and here there is the danger of being overwhelmed.

But if we let that first flash of vision guide subsequent action, we can see how the flaws are a basis for change and that there is work to do.

Work that may lead to a new and better unification of our intentions and direction.

Then shock is the basis for a new and better pattern.
