Changing Transforming
When we know that we need to make a change, that can be at two substantially different levels.
There is a level of change that is like switching a light on or off, a change in the state of an established, settled system.
Then there is a change that is transformational, like shifting to a completely different means of illumination, leaving behind or radically altering the established system.
When we need to make a change of the second type, we need to understand all the relationships among the different elements involved.
If we want to make such a change within ourselves, we need to be receptive to all the different parts of ourselves. Because if we're going to create transformational change in ourselves, it will involve our body, feelings, thoughts, and intuition. We need to be clear about the relationships among these different elements.
Then, when we know the change we want to make, all the ingredients are there for us to cook.
