Tackling Rot

It can be tempting to ignore the fact that something is not working. Perhaps there are not enough resources, or circumstances have changed since you started. Not letting go and pretending it will all work out only undermines things further.

There’s nothing wrong with intently trying to understand what is wrong and move forward. It is essential. But it isn’t good for you or anyone else to become permanently habituated to fixing problems, to putting out fires.

You may need to deal once and for all with the root cause, leave behind an environment of endless attrition, and move into a larger world that spins on the axis of your authentic purpose.

Much more difficult than clinging to the idea that isn’t working, but much more real.
